I started as a Program Manager out of college and worked hard to become a Sr. Technical Product Manager. I was then promoted to Manager, Program Management and eventually became an Engineering Manager leading all engineering disciplines working on Expedia’s Insurance technology team. Then I was given the opportunity to move into a traditional Product Management role where I identified and evaluated opportunities, formulated a product vision, and evangelized that vision to stakeholders.
These different roles have given me a unique, multi-disciplined understanding of the software development lifecycle that you will not find in most people.
On the weekends, you can usually find me spending time with my beautiful bride and my two amazing children. They are my world.
Jess and I have been married for 10 years now and really enjoy traveling. We’ve been fortunate to see a lot of really cool places. It’s slowed down some now that we have two kids running around. But we take the opportunity whenever we can to get away and look forward to taking the kids with us on new adventures in the future.
Bennett is 3 years old, and loves going on “Man Missions”. This is basically an excuse for him and me to run errands, work on DIY projects, or just hang out.
Adalyn is 1 year old, and is at a stage where her little personality is starting to come out. One of the best parts of my day is getting to come home and see what new things she is able to do. It literally changes that fast.
When I’m not with the family, you can usually find me on a cheap golf course or hanging out with the guys.
